Shine Chorus: First Session
Shine Chorus is a new offering from Shine Song Collective. Where our song circles are open and improvisational, Shine Chorus is a focused practice group. We gather weekly to learn specific parts to more complex songs, building toward a shared performance at the end of the session.
For this first session, we are learning four songs together. Singers of all backgrounds are welcome. A love of singing and a willingness to show up each week matter more than experience.
About This First Session
This first session is intentionally small. Six weeks and four songs give us room to get to know each other: our styles, our leaders, the rhythm of the schedule, the practice location, and how committed we each feel to showing up. It's also a chance to hear our collective voice, where our strengths sit, where we have room to grow, and what instruments might want to join in.
What we learn here will shape a full season starting in early 2027. Six weeks is a real but manageable commitment, and a great way to be part of building something new from the ground up.

What to Expect
We learn each song by ear, part by part, building layers of harmony as the weeks progress. Regular attendance helps the group grow together and gives every voice room to settle into its part.
