Since ancient times, singing has been a natural part of the human experience—yet in modern times, it has become tied to talent and expertise, leaving many hesitant to use their voices.
But song is for everyone. Whether we sing, listen, write, or move to music, it has the power to uplift us—physically, mentally, and spiritually. Shine Song Collective was born from the belief that singing is a birthright. Furthermore, Song itself, is a birthright.

Through song circles, performances, and community gatherings, we invite people of all backgrounds to reclaim the joy of singing—no experience needed.song is a birthright.
Shine Song Collective was birthed out of a reclaiming of that right. Together we sing, write, play and dance to these songs. We believe that singing is for everybody, regardless of skill or experience. This collective is about more than just songs, it’s about learning, healing, building community, building meaning and expanding together.
